7/2/21 – This is a nice example of Fazakerley No 5 MK I Jungle Carbine issued to the British military in 1946. The gun and magazine are mismatched. Has the proper British proofs. It has a black painted finish. There is significant wear in this finish on the barrel. There are surface scratches in the paint on the barrel, especially around the bore, and on the receiver. Noticeable wear and brown patina on the magazine. The stock has dings, dents, and scratches throughout and and area of white paint on the left side of the butt stock. Minty bore.
