11/19/24 – For sale is a rare, Springfield 1903 National Match made in 1925. Barrel is dated to September of 1924 (9-24). The rifle is in excellent condition and has all the proper signs of being a National Match. The bolt has been electro-penciled to the receiver and the internal walls of the receiver have been polished for the bolt travel path, the buttplate is checkered and the muzzle is stamped with a star. The receiver has a very nice parkerization throughout and has some oxidation freckling on the front barrel band and some wear on the front sight base. The muzzle is bright with great rifling and the muzzle erosion reads a 1.
