08/29/2024 – For sale is a fantastic model 1884 Trapdoor made by Springfield Arsenal. This example is in great condition with a nice aged bluing throughout the metal parts and the stocks looks fantastic but there is a crack developing from the top of the tang, and a crack next to the tang. The trapdoor has a nice case colored finish. The bore is very bright and the rifling is sharp. The socket bayonet is in great condition and has its scabbard and frog.
