4/12/22 – This is an original Fairbairn & Sykes stiletto from WW2 era. The stiletto is a more scarce variation with a wider grip and lack of a beaded pattern. The hand guard is stamped “ENGLAND” on one side. The blade is minty with almost no finish loss. The scabbard is interesting and unique, in that it’s wrapped metal and not leather. The metal has a painted finish just like the handle, and is unmarked. The knife does not fit snug in the scabbard. The leather frog is in nice shape but the stitching is missing around the top. The other scabbard is a typical WWI pattern of metal and leather. Great stitching and nice fittings. All unmarked.
