8/8/23 – This is an original WW2 German K98 style dress / parade bayonet. The bayonet blade has a shiny nickel finish that’s in great condition despite some mild surface scratches and scabbard rub wear on both sides. No major issues or dark areas of discoloration worth noting. The leather stopper is excellent and thick leather, although we doubt this is the original. The handle has a sharp diamond pattern with some normal handling wear. The pommel and cross guard have mild patina throughout but no major issues. Comes with an original metal scabbard that ahs light surface patina throughout. The blade measures about 25cm long, and the overall length is about 37.5cm.
