3/24/23 – This is an ultra rare Ithaca WW2 heat shield, If you were looking for one you could probably never find it. This was removed from an Ithaca Model 37 by the police who were destroying a crime scene seized gun. It is a heat shield for the very rare US Military issued Trench shotgun – the Ithaca Model 37. 90 – 95% all original finish with just a little corrosion. It has the original swivel and screws. Swivel is properly pinned and it has the “telltale” oval welds that are unique to the Ithaca. (See photo). The swivel is properly pinned.
