9/1/21 – This is an exceptionally rare Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi Police force in 1938. It is all matching and has a police “Eagle K” marking on the right side of the slide. They only made 275 of this configuration! It comes with nice wood grips that do not match – they are minor dings on both sides. Also comes with a mismatched magazine. The gun has retained about 50% of its original finish. There is spotty wear and spotty oxidation throughout. Brown patina on the back strap. Areas of pin-pricking here and there most noticeable on the barrel. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.
