7/28/23 – This is an excellent example of a commercial PPK sold in the commercial market in 1942. All matching with the proper “Eagle N” proofs. It has retained about 96% of its original wartime finish. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges. Just a hint of thinning along the right side of the slide. Comes with a period-correct wartime magazine and is fitted with a scarce grey-colored grip – a couple of hairline cracks with some minor “blistering” in the bakelite throughout. Very nice bore with strong rifling, but there is some very light freckling in the grooves. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
