8/8/24 – This is an excellent example of a Walther PP manufactured at the end of the war in 1945. This is a GI mismatched gun put together by an American GI at the very end of the war. It has no proof marks, indicating it was never issued and never made it out of the Walther factory. It properly has no slide legend and has an “ac” Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish with some tiny surface scratches and marks here and there on the slide. The gun is fitted with minty late-war wood grips and comes with a rare, end-of-war, phosphate “W” marked magazine. Excellent, shiny bore.
