9/21/22 – This is an excellent example of a Walther Model 8 sold in the commercial market in 1931-32. This is a third variation example. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and a few small dots of discoloration on both sides of the slide. Minor pin-pricking on the grip straps. Comes with period-correct black bakelite grips – there is some noticeable warping on the bottom edges. Also comes with a Walther banner magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is an area of minor spotty oxidation around the muzzle end.
