8/17/23 – This is an excellent condition WW2 production USN issued KA-BAR Mk 2 knife. These utility knives were heavily used during WW2 as a weapon and tool. This example has a very clean blade that retains most of the original finish throughout. There’s some light finish loss and scabbard rub wear, as well as a carefully sharpened edge. The cross guard is maker stamped “KA-BAR” and “USN MK 2” as shown. The leather handle is excellent, tight, and clean throughout. The pommel is pinned and standard 3rd generation example. Comes with an excellent USN MK 2 scabbard.
