03/12/2024 – For sale is an excellent Mossberg 44 that was a part of the US Military contracts to be a training rifle during WW2. This rifle is in excellent condition for its age and retains the majority of its original bluing but there is wear on the barrel. the stock is also in excellent shape. The bore is very bright with sharp rifling. The receiver and barrel are both stamped “US Property” and the serial number falls in the 2nd contract in 1943.
