11/23/21 – This is an excellent, original Swedish AG 42 rifle. These were produced by AB C.J. Ljungmans Verkstäder company beginning in 1942 and roughly 30,000 were made. This rifle was made in 1945 and has matching numbered parts on receiver, buttplate and bolt. Right side of receiver is marked ‘S.S’, which denotes inspection by Sten W. Stenmo. The rifle is in excellent condition, with very little bluing loss. Excellent stock has the disc intact and Swedish crown proofs on the wrist. There is a small surface crack on left side of the stock but it wouldn’t affect structural integrity. Smooth operation and comes with an original cleaning rod. Excellent, shiny bore. Import mark on right side of barrel.
