07/12/2024 – For sale is a Springfield M1C sniper that was originally produced in 1945 and was sold through the CMP. The rifle is in great overall condition with a nice even parkerized finish on the metal without too much wear. The stock has handling marks, dents, and pressure marks and there is also a rack number faded on the left side. The bore is bright with great rifling and has a muzzle erosion of 2 and a throat erosion of 1. The barrel had been replaced and is marked January of 1955. The scope mount is not original to the rifle as it is unnumbered. The rifle comes with the CMP certificate and a CMP case.
