11/29/22 – This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in September of 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with an un-issued 1944-dated soft shell holster, one period-correct jvd magazine, and one “Eagle 88” proofed Spreewerk magazine. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its bluing. Virtually all of the actual finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are near-mint. Just a hint of muzzle and high edge wear. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips. The bore is stone-mint – looks like it just left the factory. De-cocker is functional.
