9/3/21 – This is an excellent example of an original Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver that was issued to the U.S. Military near the end of the Great War. Barrel is UNITED STATES PROPERTY marked and frame has flaming bomb proof. The original blue rates at 95+% as there is minimal actual bluing loss, but there is oxidation in several areas. Excellent original grips, and right panel is hand-numbered and matching to the gun. Bore has strong rifling but a little frost throughout. Smooth mechanics.
