5/17/17 – This is an excellent and hard to find Colt ACE, manufactured in 1939 and chambered in .22LR. Between April 1931 and July 1941, a total of 10,745 Colt “ACE” pistols were made as a companion pistol to the Model 1911A1 Government Model The original finish on this pistol rates at about 98-99%, with a spot of wear on the slide stop. There is also some light freckling in a few spots on the right side of the slide and frame. Period correct grips and proper magazine. Excellent bore.
