8/14/23 – This is an excellent example of a M1907 Roth Steyr issued to the Austro-Hungarian Army in 1909. This one is all matching, 1909-dated, and has the Austro-Hungarian eagle on the back of the pistol. The disc on the right grip panel is unit-marked “23 LR 22”. It has retained about 97% of its finish with just very light wear along the barrel. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is freckling on both grip straps and a few tiny dots of oxidation on the right side of the frame. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips – a few tiny dings on both sides. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves.
