6/8/22 – This is an excellent example of a Remington UMC Model 51. This is a Type II example, chambered in 7.65mm or .32 ACP and manufactured around 1923. It is characterized by having 15 slide serrations and “32 CAL over 7.65 M/M” on the barrel. It has retained about 97% of its original bluing. There is very minor muzzle wear and some light scratchy wear on both grip straps. There is an arrow and the word “LOCK” lightly scratched into the left side of the frame, just behind the safety lever. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and a proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling and some very minor frosting in the grooves.
