6/14/22 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Model 03-A3 issued to the US military in 1943-44. The barrel is RA marked and is dated August of 1944. The stock has the proper “P” proof and an “SA” stamp, indicating it was reworked at the Springfield Arsenal. The bolt is Remington marked and SA marked. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with very little actual finish loss. with just some very light handling marked here and there. The stock is minty but was likely sanded or replaced. Mint bore. Comes with a front sight hood that is “US” marked and has a flaming bomb proof. Also comes with an excellent reproduction tan leather sling.
