6/14/23 – This is an excellent example of a rare Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1943. It is all matching and has a police “Eagle L” marking on the right side of the slide. This variation is rare as only about 4,600 were issued. This one comes as a rig with an un-issued police holster and two Mauser magazines. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some pin-pricking and minor oxidation on the front edges of the slide. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some areas of minor freckling. De-cocker is functional.
