11/24/21 – This is a beautiful Erfurt Luger from 1918 that was sent to the German Army at the end of World War I, then to their police following the war. It has all matching numbers, including the grips and magazine, which was likely numbered at the police arsenal. It’s not unit marked but does have the police sear safety intact. The bluing rates at about 97% with most of the wear on the sideplate, and tiny hints of edge wear otherwise. Minor oxidation is visible on the grip straps. Strong, shiny bore. Excellent grips with sharp checkering.
