3/27/24 – This an excellent example of a K98 rifle put together at the Czech BRNO factory immediately after WW2 using leftover Nazi parts. In this case, the receiver reads “dou 45”, indicating it was manufactured at the Waffenwerke Brunn factory in 1945. The receiver is marked with the proper Czech Lion proofs. There is one waffen Nazi military acceptance proof on the bolt release. All numbered parts are matching. The finish rates about 95% with minor muzzle wear and a couple of small areas of minor thinning on the receiver. Excellent wood furniture. Stone-mint bore. Comes with a leather sling.
