10/30/23 – This is an excellent 5th series Type 99 Arisaka made by the Nagoya Arsenal during WW2. This rifle features many “Mid war” features like the removal of the monopod but maintaining the anti-aircraft sights. The rifle is completely matching on the receiver, bolt, extractor, firing pin, safety knob, and bayonet lug. The receiver has a clean, untouched Mum. The rifle retains about 80% of its original finish and has no signs of pitting or damage on the metal or stock. The bore is very bright thanks to the chrome lining.
