05/06/2024 – For sale is an excellent matching No5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine made by the Royal Ordnance Factory at Fazakerly. These carbines are Lee Enfields cut down and lightened for use in the tropics of Asia. A flash hider was added to the muzzle and a rubber buttpad were added by the arsenal. This example is in great condition with an even black finish on the metal from the arsenal. The stock is also great with a minor crack at the wrist behind the trigger on the left side. This carbine is matching on the receiver, magazine, stock, and bolt. The bore is excellent and very bright.
