6/20/24 – This is an excellent G Date K98 Bayonet issued to the Nazi military during WWII. The blade and scabbard are matching with the serial number “4679e” stamped on both, and the maker code “S/184G” stamped on the reverse side, indicating Jos Corts manufacturer. The blade is in excellent overall condition, with most of the finish remaining, with just some minor scabbard wear and surface scratches. Scabbard and hilt show signs of oxidation throughout, but are in great condition otherwise. Rivets on the crossguard are tight, and brown hardwood grips are excellent.
