11/6/23 – This is an excellent condition Luftwaffe Gravity knife from WW2. This example has a clean blade, nice handle, and smooth lockup / functionality. The blade has some mild surface scratches and scuffs, but is clean throughout with a SMF maker stamp and visible cross-graining. The mouth of the handle has some light speckling and natural patina, but minimal discoloration. The release lever and sidebar are matching numbered, and function well. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The foldout spike is in great condition as well with a Luftwaffe proof stamp on the base.
