9/25/20 – This is an excellent example of a late-war Walther P.38 Rig manufactured for the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching, has the “AC 45” Walther factory code, and has only two military acceptance proofs. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish, typical for this variation. This particular gun has a Czech fnh barrel. The rig comes with a generic leather holster (no date or proofs) and two magazines. Both of the magazines are “U” marked, but one has a rare phosphate finish. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining about 98% of its original finish. There is very minor muzzle wear, light thinning on the front strap, and minor wear on the barrel through the ejection port. Excellent original grips. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling. The gun is fully functional, including the de-cocker.
