2/21/22 – This is a minty Ithaca 1911A1 that was sent to Benicia Ordnance Depot in July of 1944. This info can be found via factory records in Meadows’ book on U.S. Military Automatic Pistols. It’s all original and correct with just a little high edge wear on the left side of the slide and frame. Nice grips but some wear on the bottom of each panel. ‘L’ marked magazine. Correct HS barrel with excellent bore. Rig is completed by an excellent 1944 holster that was made by Milwaukee Saddlery Co.
