4/4/24 – This is an excellent example of a G Date Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. All matching with the proper “W154” and “S92” military acceptance proofs. Comes with capture document and signed documentation involving the auction sale of this rig in 1991. It comes as a rig with a mismatched “Eagle 154” magazine, an “Eagle 154” tool, and an interesting 1935-dated G Date holster. The 1935 date on the back of the holster appears to be correct, but the inside of the holster shows K Date-style pouches. This could either be a very early G Date holster that originally had K Date features or the pouches were added later. We can’t say for sure. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its finish with just very minor high edge wear and some light freckling on the left side of the frame. Excellent straw finish on the small parts. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips. Mint bore.
