12/23/22 – This is an excellent example of a G Date Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. It is all matching and has the proper “Droop Wing Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 98% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the side plate (where there is also a couple of light scratches), but there are hints of wear on the front edges of the side rails and around the muzzle. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is brown patina and some light freckling on the grip straps. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips and a blank-bottom pin magazine that belongs with a later gun (around 1941). Minty bore.
