10/17/2024 – For sale is an excellent Finnish M39 rifle assembled in 1967 at the AV1 Arsenal. This rifle was assembled using leftover parts and used a recycled Izhevsk receiver made in 1894. The M39s are considered the pinnacle of the standard infantry Mosin Nagants with Finland replacing and replacing every parts except the receiver and buttplate. This rifle has excellent bluing throughout with very minor handling scratches visible. The stock is equally excellent with sharp edges. The stock is a post-war stock with square splice fingers. The bore is very bright with great rifling and there’s an import mark on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle is “Finnish Matching” with the barrel shank and bolt handle matching together.
