8/15/22 – This is a high-end collectible German Army Officer Dagger with an original scabbard and silver portepee. The dagger blade is in minty condition with visible cross-graining and minimal surface wear. There’s some mild spots of discoloration and light scabbard wear. Maker stamped by Eickhorn on one side. The hand guard and pommel both retain some of the original finish, and have mild surface patina. The bakelite handle has no chord wrapping, but there are no cracks or chips on the bakelite. The portepee is clean and excellent with a tight knot and no chord fraying. The scabbard is also excellent with some of the original finish still intact as shown. Comes with a 1990 dated tag from Thomas Whittmann.
