5/24/24 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It has the very distinct high polish blued finish and would be in MINT condition if not for the spotty wear on the left side, front section of the frame. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 655” military acceptance proof on the trigger guard and the extra “Test Eagle” on the back of the frame. This is an early and desirable variation. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original finish, with minor muzzle wear and the spotty as previous mentioned on the left side of the frame. Grip straps are excellent. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, We would rate at about an 8 out of 10. Comes with an early, correct magazine. Mechanical function is excellent.
