3/23/23 – This is a scarce DWM military “sneak” Luger from the Weimar period in excellent condition. These are typically termed Sneak Lugers based on the lack of any identifying manufactures markings and proof marks, which the Nazis did to disguise their early rearmament efforts. This one has a blank chamber and blank toggle. All numbered parts are matching. Weimar-era proofs on the right side of the slide. There is a police sear safety, and it was cut for a police magazine safety. It has retained about 97% of its bluing with minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate. Some very light spotty wear and very light freckling on the grip straps. Excellent wood grips – the right one is matching, the left is un-numbered. The left panel has a small repaired chip under the safety. Comes with a mismatched police arsenal-numbered magazine. Excellent bore.
