12/4/23 – This is an all correct and original Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was issued to the US military in either December of 1943 or January of 1944. A list of drawing numbers is included in the photos for this listing. Proper November of 1943 dated barrel. Stock is marked ‘SA / GAW’ on left face with crossed cannons cartouche and circle P on the wrist. The rifle is in terrific condition overall with thinning on the receiver and a little wear on the gas tube. Bore has strong rifling but some frost and freckling in the grooves. The stock shows crisp markings with minimal handling wear. Comes with an excellent leather sling that is 1918 dated.
