4/9/21 – This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is all correct, has a “United States Property” marking, and has the proper cross-canon cartouche. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and spotty wear on the front strap. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The barrel is marked “Large G”. The bore is near-mint.
