7/26/21 – This is a very nice example of an original Colt 1911A1 from early 1943. The pistol has about 93-95% of the original parkerized finish, with nearly all of the wear on the front strap. It has the matching numbered slide, and a proper Colt barrel with large ‘G’ under lug. ‘P’ proofs on slide and frame, and G.H.D. inspector mark. Excellent grips. Magazine is marked R on the lip and C-R on the base. Bore has some signs of use but is shiny and in good condition.
