1/8/24 – This is an excellent example of an original Colt M1911 that was issued to the US Army in 1918. Terrific profile view with only minor high edge wear, but the majority of the finish loss is on the front strap. Correct barrel with vertical and disconnected ‘P’ & ‘H’ markings. Terrific wood grips. Original two-tone mag is worn. Bore shows some frost and freckling throughout, and rifling is somewhat worn.
