11/18/21 – This is an excellent Colt 1911A1 that was made in 1943 and issued to the U.S. Army. It has a matching numbered slide and proper Colt barrel with large G under the lug. Correct GHD inspector mark on frame, and ‘P’ proofs on slide and frame. Terrific, shiny bore. Sharply checkered grips with no defects. ‘L’ marked magazine.
