8/3/23 – This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 or Model 1955 Target Revolver, manufactured in about 1976 and chambered in .45 Caliber. This one is all matching and comes with an original wood presentation case, sales papers, owners manual, and cleaning rod. The felt lining on the inside of the case is almost completely disintegrated and is crumbling away. The gun shows no sign of finish loss, not even a visible roll mark on the cylinder. Unfortunately, from a manner of poor storage, there is light spotty oxidation on most of the gun. The gun would be mint, otherwise. Fitted with minty hand-checkered Walnut grips. Mint bore.
