5/27/22 – This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolver, manufactured in 1975-76. It is chambered in .38 Special and has a 2″ barrel. The gun comes with its original matching-numbered cardboard box, owners manual, cleaning rod, and one box (50 rds) of Hornady Critical Defense .38 Special ammo. The gun has retained about 97% of its original high polish finish. There is minor muzzle wear, some minor wear on the high edges of the cylinder, some tiny scratches on the cylinder, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder as well. Nice case-hardening on the small parts. Comes with very nice wood grips – just a few tiny bruises on the bottom edges. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth.
