4/12/24 – This is an excellent example of an all-correct Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military in 1943. The receiver dates to about September of 1943. Barrel is marked Springfield and dated 8-43. There is a proper Springfield cartouche on the left side of the stock. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their finish with just hints of high edge wear. Excellent wood stock with very little sign of wear. Mint bore. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 1.
