3/7/23 – This is an excellent example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 rig issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a 1944-dated holster, one “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazine, and one jvd magazine. The gun itself shows very little sign of actual finish loss, except for on the top plate. Some small spots of minor discoloration along the barrel. Minor dulling on the front strap. Some very light freckling on both sides of the slide and on the underside of the frame. Fitted with an excellent set of reddish-brown bakelite grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
