1/11/22 – This is an excellent example of an early first variation AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. “AC” on the trigger guard and barrel. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The inside of the grips are also waffen-proofed and numbered to match the gun. The gun comes as a rig with a very nice 1941-dated holster, one period-correct un-numbered Walther magazine, and one original matching-numbered magazine. The matching magazine must have been stored poorly, as the condition is much worse than the gun. The gun has retained about 94-96% of its bluing. There is some thinning and brown patina on the front strap and underside of the frame. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the front edge of the left side of the slide. One light scratch on the left side of the slide as well. The bore has good rifling with some areas of very minor freckling.
