05/30/2024 – For sale is a unique Walther P.38 made in 1944 but was assembled after WW2. The handgun has been assembled after the factory was occupied by French Forces and inspected by French inspectors as noted by the star stamped on the barrel, slide, frame, and locking block. The handgun is an overall 98% condition with edge wear visible on the slide from holster use. The handgun is all matching. The slide is made by FN as characterized by the large “P.38 ac44” stamp. The frame is stamped with “BH” above the trigger guard which denotes Austrian Army property. The bore is very bright with good rifling. The plastic grips are in good condition and the pistole comes with 1 magazine stamped “Eagle/WaA135.”
