1/13/23 – This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in March of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 88” military acceptance proofs throughout. Factory double stamp of the serial number on the barrel. It has retained around 97% of its finish. There is just very minor wear around some of the high edges and some minor thinning and light brown patina on the front strap. While there is very little finish loss, there is some light freckling on the barrel and right side of the slide. Fitted with very nice blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
