12/16/22 – This is an excellent example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has a proper High Standard barrel. It has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish with hints of wear around the high edges in general and very minor thinning on the grip safety. A couple of very light surface scratches here and there. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and one proper magazine. Mint bore.
