9/26/24 – This is an excellent, near mint condition example of a WW2 production US M1917 Revolver holster. The holster features light brown leather that’s crisp, strong, and clean throughout. Normal pliability on the top flap and upper portion of leather, while the toe of the holster is a little more firm and less pliable. Crisp interior leather. This holster also features all original brass fixtures including the lanyard loop hole at the toe, which is clean and unaltered. Mint, original stitching tight throughout as well. The back leather is maker stamped and dated, while the front leather is “US” stamped. A high-end and fairly scarce WW2 example.
