4/12/23 – This is an excellent example of a Fazakerley No 4 Mk 1 issued to the British military in December of 1944. It is all matching (including the wood stock) and has the proper British proofs throughout. Tiny import mark on the left side of the trigger guard. This one comes with a “No 4 MK II” bayonet (with scabbard), a spare magazine, and a canvas sling. It has retained about 94-95% of its black enamel finish with most of the wear and chipping in the finish around the muzzle and front barrel. Minor wear around the high edges in general. Minty wood stock, but there is an area of light scratching on the underside in front of the magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
